Sponsor a Flag in honor, or in memory of, a hero who has served your family, community, or country.
A $50 Flag Sponsorship includes a customized medallion with your hero’s name, which will be attached to a flag in their honor.
Medallion Placement
Begins MAY 15, 2025
Flags will be installed and medallions will begin to be placed.

Memorial Day Ceremony
25 May 2026 @ 10 AM
Names of veterans & first responders lost in the line of duty will be read during the ceremony.

Flags for Heroes
Flags for Heroes is a community event hosted by Rotary Clubs across the country to recognize local community heroes and honor those who serve. Flags for Heroes also serves as a fundraiser for service initiatives of local Rotary Clubs, including supporting education; fighting disease: providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene; promoting peace; growing local economies; saving mothers and their children; and protecting the environment.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will support the charitable efforts and services of Rotary Clubs of Fuquay-Varina including educational opportunities for local youth including youth of our “Heroes”.
